Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist with 19+ years of experience specializing in anxiety, stress, and life transitions for women. I trained at Stanford Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, and USC Keck School of Medicine, and earned my doctorate from the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium. I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, tailored to each client's goals. I'm licensed in California, Florida, and Utah, see clients via teletherapy, and am in-network with Aetna (CA,FL, UT), Carelon (CA), and Quest (UT).

My approach to therapy

I've worked across private practice, hospital systems, community mental health, and specialized clinical settings, experience that has sharpened my ability to meet clients where they are. I take a flexible, integrative approach: sessions can be goal-oriented or process-oriented, depending on what you need. My work is grounded in CBT and DBT, and I also pay attention to the whole person, incorporating somatic and grounding techniques that support nervous system regulation and help clients connect mind and body. I bring warmth, genuine curiosity, and a direct style to every session because the relationship between therapist and client matters just as much as the techniques we use.

What you can expect from me

Before your first session, we'll have a free 15-minute consultation — a chance to see if I'm the right match for what you're looking for, and to get your questions answered. If we're a good fit, your first session is a structured intake. It's more of a two-way conversation than a formal interview: I'll ask about your history, what's bringing you in, and clarify your goals for therapy. Most clients leave feeling listened to and relieved to have finally started.
