Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am based out of Alabama working with clients via telehealth statewide in Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia. I provide individual therapy to adults of all ages (18+).

Life’s challenges may feel overwhelming when you’re struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, major transitions, relationship difficulties, or the lasting effects of trauma/PTSD. If you’re feeling stuck I’m here to help you recognize your strengths, find your authentic voice, and have the confidence to use it every day. I have experience working with diverse populations utilizing an eclectic set of tools to assist with your healing journey. Whether you’re working through trauma and its lasting effects, building coping skills, improving communication skills or boundary setting, struggling with identity concerns, self-esteem, or exploring your personal goals, I’ll work with you to create a plan for growth that feels empowering and achievable

My approach to therapy

My practice is grounded in a client-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed philosophy. My approach is centered on creating a calm, safe, and supportive environment where you feel comfortable being yourself, heard, respected, and valued. I view therapy as a partnership, with your voice and perspective at the center. I prioritize open and genuine communication, listen closely, and invite you to reflect on your experiences in ways that honor your perspective. Each session is tailored to your goals and challenges, with the understanding that growth is not always linear but is always possible. I draw from approaches such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), among others, to best meet your needs and support meaningful progress. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is a key part of healing, growth, and learning skills you can carry with you.

What you can expect from me

Initial sessions are scheduled for up to 90 minutes. This time gives you the space to share your history, experiences, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. Therapy is a partnership, and together we’ll identify goals that matter to you. It’s completely normal to feel nervous before a first session—whether it’s your first ever or simply with a new therapist. Our focus won’t be on “fixing everything” right away, but on building a connection. We’ll explore your background, concerns, and hopes at a pace that feels right for you, while creating a plan to guide your journey. I’m here to offer support, tools, and encouragement as you move toward the changes you want, even when the path feels challenging.
