Great to meet you!

Does life feel overwhelming right now? Are you feeling more anxious or depressed than usual? Are you doing everything you can think of, but nothing is working for you? You are not alone. There is help, hope and healing to feel better and to live well. My name is Jaime Williamson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and owner of Well Life Counseling Services, PLLC. I have been helping others just like yourself for over 11 years. I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Dominican University School of Social Work in 2009. I have extensive experience working with adults in both private practice and hospital-based settings who are struggling with life transitions, anxiety, depression and other mood related disorders.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive and collaborative. By creating a warm and non-judgmental environment, I provide a safe place for you to share your story and talk through your current challenges. I use a tailored, client-centered approach to meet your needs. I commonly draw from evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Positive Psychology.

What you can expect from me

During our first session together, you will have an opportunity to begin to discuss what has brought you in to therapy. Many express that they feel relieved and with a sense of direction for future sessions.
