Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been practicing in a private practice setting for over 5 years. I received my BA degree in psychology from the University of California, Davis and my MA degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana, Monroe. I enjoy working with individuals and couples to help navigate the difficulties of life. I am EMDR trained to help individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

I am person centered in my approach to therapy. I believe developing a genuine, safe, trusting environment is key to an effective therapeutic relationship. I find self-awareness, humility, and effective communication are important factors in creating empowerment and change in our thoughts and interactions with those around us.

What you can expect from me

It is important to me that you feel heard, understood, and accepted while also being open minded to receive challenges, to think of how the roles we play as well as the roles of others in our lives affect our behaviors and our relationships.
