Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jaimie! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California.

I often work with people who feel stuck in their relationships, shut down OR act out during difficult conversations, or find themselves carrying stress without knowing where to put it. I also help clients navigate their trauma, chronic pain, substance use, and the major life transitions and new decades that can leave them wondering, “What am I doing with my life?”

Whether you’re just beginning to understand yourself or you already have plenty of insight but still feel stuck, you don’t need to have it all figured out before coming to a session with me.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, authentic, collaborative, and gently challenging. I’m not the kind of therapist who will simply nod along for an hour. I’ll ask questions, help you make connections, and get curious with you about the patterns that keep showing up.

I also don’t believe in throwing a list of cookie-cutter coping skills at you and hoping something sticks. I want to find approaches that actually make sense for you.

My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and somatically focused. I’m trained in Somatic Experiencing (Beginning I) and Brainspotting (Phase I and II), and also draw from ACT and DBT for some foundational skills.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been working (and what hasn’t), and what you’d like to get out of our time together.

My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where we can begin making sense of what’s going on and figure out together what would actually be helpful.
