Jairo Cordero obtained his Bachelor of Science from Stony Brook University and his Master’s in Nursing from Hunter College. Jairo is passionate about his work and takes pride in engaging with individuals from diverse background. He specializes in treating Depression, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, Mood disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Substance Use Disorder.
Jairo employs a multifaceted approach to care that includes holistic, patient-centered, and compassionate methods. By integrating these three strategies, he aims to achieve positive outcomes for his patients. He believes it is crucial to treat the whole person, rather than just their mental health symptoms. Empowering patients to take control of their mental health journey is a key focus and most importantly, Jairo prioritizes compassion and empathy in his interactions.
Clients can expect to feel more empowered to take charge of their mental health and gain confidence in their ability to overcome their current challenges knowing that the only result is a positive outcome.
