Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m Jake Glazier, and I’ve spent the past decade working closely with college students and adults facing the challenges of mental illness. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and narrative, meaning I draw from a variety of methods while centering your unique story as a powerful tool for healing and transformation.

I hold a doctorate in psychology and am deeply passionate about helping people grow, heal, and flourish. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or seeking deeper self-understanding, I’m here to support you with compassion, curiosity, and care.

My approach to therapy

In my work, I take a gentle, non-directive, and affirming approach to therapy. This means I invite clients to lead the way in our sessions, while I offer reflections and interventions that help reframe, validate, and deepen their understanding of their experiences. I believe that healing begins when we feel truly heard and not judged—and creating that kind of space is at the heart of what I do.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working with a wide range of people, including young adults, older adults, college students, and couples. No matter where you are in your journey, I’m here to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and respect.

What you can expect from me

I believe that therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. That’s why I strive to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each person I work with. You can expect me to be flexible and responsive—adapting our work together based on what feels most helpful and meaningful to you.

At the heart of my practice is a commitment to creating a space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. I see therapy as a collaborative process—one where your voice leads the way, and I offer support, insight, and tools to help you move toward the goals you’ve set for yourself.
