Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona and a Nationally Certified Counselor with over 10 years of experience working with adults. I provide online therapy to adults throughout Arizona and specialize in trauma and PTSD, anxiety, and depression.

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from CACREP accredited Capella University and a Bachelor’s degree in Care, Health, and Society from the University of Arizona. My professional background includes working with a wide range of adult clients, and I am committed to providing ethical, evidence based care in a supportive and respectful environment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma informed. I believe healing happens when clients feel safe, supported, and understood, and I work at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of each person’s readiness. Therapy is not about being fixed, but about gaining insight, building resilience, and creating meaningful change.

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, often called EMDR, which can be a helpful option for processing distressing or overwhelming experiences when it feels like a good fit. Whether we use EMDR or not, I approach therapy through a cognitive, multicultural, and compassionate lens, while paying attention to underlying patterns, beliefs, and coping strategies that may no longer be serving you. Together, we focus on awareness, practical tools, and long term healing.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and creating a space where you feel comfortable and supported. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, any concerns or goals you may have, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to share everything right away, and you are always in control of what you choose to discuss.

I will ask some questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and what has been helpful or unhelpful in the past. We may also talk about how therapy can be structured moving forward and what feels most supportive for you. My goal for the first session is for you to feel heard, respected, and clear about next steps, rather than overwhelmed.
