Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. I work with clients experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem challenges, and relationship difficulties.

My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and direct when helpful. I value building a genuine therapeutic relationship because I believe healing and growth happen best when clients feel comfortable being honest and fully themselves.

My goal is to provide a space where clients can feel heard, challenged in productive ways, and supported in building healthier patterns and stronger coping skills.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy should be collaborative and compassionate. My approach is centered in helping clients feel understood while also making meaningful and tangible progress. I work from a person-centered and trauma-informed perspective, which means I aim to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and supported as they explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My belief is that therapy should be tailored to each individual, and I work with clients to identify goals that feel realistic, relevant, and empowering.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin getting to know each other and discussing what brings them to therapy. We will talk about current concerns, relevant background information, and what they hope to gain from treatment. I also use the first session to understand what has been difficult, what strengths the client already has, and what goals would feel most meaningful moving forward.

The first session is not about having everything figured out. It is a chance to begin building comfort, clarity, and direction. My goal is for clients to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a better sense of how we can work together in therapy.
