Great to meet you!

I'm a trauma therapist who welcomes challenges and doesn't scare easily. I work with adults navigating PTSD, bipolar disorder, family rupture, and the kind of high-acuity work other therapists sometimes step back from. My focus is helping you tackle change head-on — to live better for yourself and the people you love. I believe therapy is a relationship built on trust and honesty, because real change is hard, and you deserve someone in your corner who won't flinch when things get heavy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is friendly, but I'm also someone who likes challenging people. I pride myself on offering a safe space first — and then meeting you with the methods that fit your goals. My niche is trauma and patients of higher acuity (bipolar, schizophrenia spectrum, personality disorders). For trauma, I draw on Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Trauma-Focused CBT. For navigating change and ambivalence, I lean on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. I'm first and foremost client-centered — because everyone has different needs, even when they have the same diagnoses.

What you can expect from me

From the first session, my focus is on you. I'll ask background questions to understand what you're carrying, and I'll ask what you want therapy to do for you — those goals become the treatment plan we build together. Expect to leave each session with practical skills to use between visits and a clearer sense of what's working. I bring the challenge; you bring the willingness — and we get somewhere real.
