Great to meet you!

I earned my Master's in Counseling from Bethune-Cookman University in 2017. Since then, I've worked in various settings like crisis response, outpatient programs, and schools. I help people with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, including couples looking to improve communication. My experience with long-term mental health struggles has given me tools to support those seeking increased coping skills and growth within their relationships. I provide a personalized, empathetic service tailored to each individual.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with a belief that people are experts on their own lives; there’s always two experts in the room. I will never be able to walk an inch in my client’s shoes neither will I attempt. I instead aim to be a support and help assist them on the way to their ideal destination (sort of like a GPS). I enjoy helping people to create a specialized toolbox in order to break through any barriers and remove the roadblocks in their lives. I specialize in helping people overcome negative beliefs, increase desireable feelings, and gain control of their actions to change overall outcomes.

What you can expect from me

The goals of treatment can differ from person to person. My aim is to help my clients expand their skills, boost their positive emotions, and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others. The goal is to create a peaceful and joyful life while navigating challenges with support. I strongly encourage open-mindedness and want to foster a safe and non-judgmental space for each individual person.
