I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 15 years of experience in the mental health and substance use fields. My professional background spans schools, community-based organizations, and behavioral health settings, where I have dedicated my career to empowering individuals and strengthening communities.
I attended Tidewater Community College, where I earned two Associate of Science degrees in Social Science and General Studies. I later attended Norfolk State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Social Work degree. I am also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where I embraces the fraternity’s commitment to leadership, scholarship, fellowship, and service.
Throughout my career, I have provided counseling and support to individuals experiencing substance use challenges, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and everyday life stressors. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and thrive.
