About Me

What should your client know about you?

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel like a space where you can be honest, understood, and supported without judgment. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, anger, stress, relationships, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with clients who may be exploring identity, relationships, or experiences that have affected how they see themselves and the world around them.

My goal is to meet you where you are and help you identify practical ways to move forward. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can work together to better understand what you’re experiencing, identify your goals, recognize your strengths, and build strategies that fit your life.

What is your approach to therapy?

My approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you make meaningful progress at a pace that feels manageable. I draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based work, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to tailor treatment to each person’s needs and goals.

Rather than assuming there is one right way to approach therapy, I want to understand what has brought you in, what you have already tried, and what you would like to be different. Together, we can identify patterns that may be getting in the way, build healthier coping strategies, and focus on the changes that matter most to you. My background in clinical social work also allows me to consider the larger picture—including relationships, family, environment, and life circumstances—not just the symptoms themselves.

What can clients expect from their first session with you?

Our first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you and understand what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about the concerns you’re experiencing, what has been going on in your life, and what you would like to work toward. I’ll also invite you to share what has or hasn’t been helpful for you in the past.

You’re welcome to ask questions about therapy, my approach, or what you can expect from working together. We’ll begin identifying goals and getting a sense of what treatment might look like, while also giving us time to start building a comfortable therapeutic relationship.

You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. If you’re unsure where to begin, that’s okay—we can start there together.
