Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Jame’E Hairston, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and a Master of Social Work (MSW). I am dedicated to walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate challenges, uncover strengths, and move toward healing and growth.

My professional background spans child welfare, healthcare, community mental health, education, and private practice, giving me the opportunity to support diverse populations across all stages of life.

I take a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the connection between mind, body, and environment. My work integrates a client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed perspective, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and family challenges, and stress management.

I believe in creating a safe and collaborative space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we work toward building resilience, fostering self-awareness, and developing meaningful strategies for lasting well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, client-centered, and collaborative. I draw from strengths-based and trauma-informed practices to support each client’s unique needs. I specialize in helping with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and family or relationship challenges, while creating a safe and supportive space for growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my main goal is to get to know you and what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s going on in your life, the goals you’d like to work toward, and what you hope to gain from our time together. You don’t have to have everything figured out—I’ll meet you exactly where you are.

I work to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can feel safe opening up at your own pace. This first meeting is also a chance for you to get to know me and see if my style feels like a good fit for you.

By the end of our first session, you can expect to feel heard, supported, and encouraged about the next steps on your journey.
