Great to meet you!

I am a Seminary trained clinical therapist. I am also a combat veteran and have experience serving in ministry overseas. I have a prior career before becoming a therapist, working about 12 years overseas. I have worked successfully with adults from many backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and religious faiths. I have experience working with clients struggling with a wide variety of mental health conditions and stressors.

My approach to therapy

Because of my experience prior to becoming a therapist, I approach therapy with a practical and evidence based focus. I am trained in many clinical skills such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, and EFT to name a few. My ministry experience and training allows me to integrate faith easily into therapy whenever clients believe it will be most beneficial.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for each client to feel heard, understood, and encouraged. Life is very much a contact sport, in that every person gets hit. Sometimes life hits very hard. This trauma effects us on a very primal level and takes a realistic practical approach to effectively move forward in a healthy way.
