Great to meet you!

If you've been putting off therapy — telling yourself you'll handle it on your own, or that it's not for you — you're exactly who I'm glad to work with. I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with 22 years of experience, and I help adults get to the root of what's actually going on and do something about it. Whether it's anxiety, depression, anger that's costing you, the weight of past trauma, stress that won't let up, or questions about identity and who you are, I'll meet you head-on and help you build a real way forward.

I work with a lot of men and people from diverse backgrounds who want a therapist they can be straight with — someone direct, who respects your time and helps you see results, not just talk in circles. That's the work I'm built for.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical and focused: we look at the connection between your thoughts, your feelings, your actions, and the outcomes you're living with — and we change what isn't working. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Problem-Solving Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and behavioral strategies, matching the method to what you're actually facing.

I'm direct, and I'm in your corner. You'll always know what we're working on and why, and we'll keep our eyes on the goal: real, usable change you can feel in your everyday life — not insight that stays stuck in the room.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to walk away from our sessions with something you can actually use — practical tools and applicable strategies you can put to work in your daily life, not just a place to vent. I'll be honest with you, I'll respect where you're coming from, and I'll help you stay focused on the outcomes you want.

Most of all, expect to be treated like a capable adult who's ready to make things better. We'll find the root of the issue, set clear goals, and work toward them together — at a pace that pushes you forward without overwhelming you.
