Great to meet you!

There's a dark storm cloud that can settle over a person's life — making it hard to feel clear, motivated, or like yourself. My work is centered on helping you understand where that storm comes from, challenge the beliefs keeping it in place, and build the kind of solid self-image that lets you move through life without constantly feeling weighed down.

I'm an LCPC working with adolescents and adults through Road to Dawn Counseling, specializing in anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, identity, stress, grief, and relationship challenges. I have 15 active clients and a genuine passion for this work — especially with people who feel like they've been stuck for a while and aren't sure why.

I'm trained at Columbia International University, and I bring both the clinical tools and a warm, straightforward approach to every session.

My approach to therapy

My approach is built around one core idea: you already have strengths, and therapy works best when we build on them rather than just cataloguing what's broken.

I draw on CBT to identify and challenge the negative thought patterns driving anxiety and depression. Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) goes one step further — helping you examine the irrational core beliefs that keep you stuck and replacing them with more realistic, healthy ones. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy keeps us oriented toward where you want to go, not just where you've been.

The result: a stronger self-image, more positive core beliefs, and practical tools for navigating whatever life throws at you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know each other at a comfortable pace. We'll talk about what's been going on, what you're hoping changes, and start building measurable goals that will guide our work.

I take a laid-back approach — comfort and rapport are one of the most important things to me at the start. There's no pressure to dive into anything before you're ready.
