Great to meet you!

I’m a psychiatrist with more than 20 years of clinical experience, including work in outpatient mental health, inpatient psychiatry, and community-based care. I also completed fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry. After years in clinical practice, I now serve as a behavioral health medical director and am returning to patient care because I genuinely miss the connection and impact of working directly with patients. I bring a broad clinical perspective and a thoughtful, experienced approach to care.

My approach to therapy

I believe good psychiatric care starts with understanding the whole person, not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. I take time to listen, understand what brings you to treatment, and work collaboratively with you to determine the right path forward. My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-informed care while making sure you feel heard, respected, and involved in your treatment.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to understand what you’ve been experiencing, your history, and what you hope to accomplish through treatment. We’ll discuss your symptoms, goals, and any relevant medical or psychiatric history, and work together to determine appropriate next steps. You can expect a thoughtful, collaborative conversation focused on understanding your needs and creating a plan that makes sense for you.
