James is a trauma informed therapist and is experienced with several therapy approaches including EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, positive psychology, person centered, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic.

The initial session focuses on getting to know the client, discussing what brings them to therapy, and identifying goals for treatment, while also reviewing background information at a comfortable pace.
