Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, holding a doctorate from Johns Hopkins University. My practice philosophy is rooted in the belief that optimal health requires attention to both physical and mental well-being.

With advanced training and dual board certification, I am uniquely positioned to address the complex interplay between medical and psychiatric conditions. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and personality disorders—including borderline personality disorder (BPD)—as well as those managing chronic medical illnesses. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in the latest clinical evidence.

My approach to therapy

My Approach

  • Integrated Care: I provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for both physical and mental health concerns, recognizing their deep interconnection.
  • Trauma-Informed: I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space for patients with histories of trauma or emotional dysregulation.
  • Collaborative: I work closely with therapists, psychiatrists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Evidence-Based: My practice is informed by current guidelines and research, including psychotherapy as the foundation for BPD treatment and careful use of medications for co-occurring conditions.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a thorough, respectful evaluation and a care plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. I prioritize clear communication, shared decision-making, and ongoing support—whether you’re managing a new diagnosis, navigating complex emotions, or seeking to improve your overall quality of life.
