Great to meet you!

I’m honored to work with individuals and couples who want relief from anxiety, depression, and unhelpful coping patterns—while also making sense of the deeper questions and emotional struggles that naturally arise in life. Together, we don’t just focus on symptom reduction; we explore meaning, helping you feel more comfortable being uncomfortable and face uncertainty with greater self-trust and resilience.

When desired, I thoughtfully integrate clients’ spirituality or faith as an evidence-based support for healing and growth. One of the most meaningful parts of my work is helping clients experience deeper emotional connection, reciprocal empathy, and authenticity in their relationships with friends, family, and partners.

I also enjoy supporting clients through Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, helping you heal internal conflicts and develop greater harmony among all parts of yourself. This can empower you to not feel as if you're fighting yourself for healthier choices. I'd love to talk sometime to see if I can help you along your self actualization journey!

My approach to therapy

I am based in attachment theory and love to work through how to help my clients heal/grow via IFS. We also explore your family of origin's impact on your current functioning. I work collaboratively with you to understand what it is you want to get out of therapy and calibrate expectations together. I also employ aspects of CBT, existential, ACT, & narrative therapy. I try and help you prioritize what is most important to work through session to session while also maintaining a bigger picture understanding of what steps we may need to take to reach your goals that you may have not considered.

What you can expect from me

I work hard to see and understand you in YOUR context, including your culture, faith, family of origin, ethnicity, etc so that you first and foremost feel seen and understood. I also work to try and partner with you to facilitate hope, humor, and resilience as much as possible. I collaborate with my clients to try and harmonize expectations for healing and growth. Most of my clients report progress on what they come in for within the first month or so and despite potential setbacks continued growth thereafter.
