Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is James. I’m a California-based Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience providing psychotherapy to youth, adults, and families, to help them feel empowered, engaged, and most of all, accepted in this world.

My approach to therapy

I am a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed therapist with an extensive clinical background in treating trauma with a strong emphasis on the connection between one’s environment, brain, and nervous system. I tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual’s need. I find that with hardships there can be valuable enlightenment and moments that can truly strengthen one’s self-concept. In session, I exert patience, thoughtfulness, and understanding.

What you can expect from me

Above all, connection and safety are the pillars of my practice. I welcome clients ages 10+ to experience a safe, non-judgmental space where they can feel respected and heard.
