Dr. James Fuqua

Dr. Fuqua is a board certified psychiatrist who treats adults and teens struggling with depression, anxiety, and many other mental health concerns throughout the state of Texas. Based in San Antonio, he attended UT Austin for his undergraduate studies and then completed medical school and psychiatric residency at UT Health Science Center San Antonio. He is passionate about improving the lives of his patients and looks forward to working with you individually.

Dr. Fuqua provides medication management and focused psychotherapy at each encounter. He seeks to insure each patient receives treatment that is both effective and safe while providing insight, guidance, and a stable therapeutic relationship that patients can rely upon. As his patient, you will have access to a skilled psychiatrist who will invest his time and attention into knowing and understanding you.
