Great to meet you!

Hello! I have been working as a Certified Addiction Counselor in Colorado since 2018 and, after completing my Master of Arts in 2024, became licensed as both an Addiction Counselor and Professional Counselor. My experience has given me a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support, make changes, and create a life that feels more manageable and fulfilling.

Clients will find that I am easy to talk to, open, accepting, and deeply empathetic. I strive to create a space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without fear of judgment. I also believe there is room for humor and genuine human connection in therapy—healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy.

I am passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, work through challenges, and develop the tools needed to live with greater ease and confidence. My goal is to meet you where you are, support you in the changes you want to make, and help you move toward a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

I integrate an empathetic and compassionate approach with mindfulness and “parts work,” similar to Internal Family Systems (IFS), to help clients develop greater awareness and acceptance of the automatic thoughts and patterns so often contributing to distress. Rather than judging or fighting these patterns, we work together to understand where they come from, the purpose they may have served, and how you can begin responding to yourself with greater curiosity and compassion.

I also believe that healing extends beyond the therapy session. I often provide simple, practical tools and practices that you can incorporate into your daily life to reinforce the work we do together. My goal is to help you build greater self-awareness, feel more grounded, and create meaningful changes that become a natural and sustainable part of your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply an opportunity for us to get introduced, begin getting to know one another, and help you feel comfortable in the therapeutic space. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the process, and any goals or areas of your life you would like to focus on.

It’s completely natural to feel nervous when meeting a new therapist or starting therapy for the first time. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel heard, accepted, and comfortable being yourself. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re ready for—we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. I look forward to meeting you and having the opportunity to work together!
