Great to meet you!

Hi there, I’m James. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, and I work with individuals who are navigating things like anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. Reaching out for support isn’t always easy, and I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and not judged. My goal is to help you feel heard while we work together toward meaningful, lasting change in your day-to-day life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on what actually works for you. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and build practical tools you can use outside of sessions. I draw from approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, but always tailor our work to fit your unique needs, goals, and pace. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership where you’re actively involved and supported every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of it. You don’t need to have everything figured out — we’ll sort through it together. By the end of our time, we’ll begin identifying goals and next steps so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and what working together can look like.
