Great to meet you!

My name is James “Noah” Greear and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker credentialed in the state of Illinois with over 16 years of experience working in Wisconsin, Massachusetts, and Illinois with individual clients and their families across therapeutic school, outpatient, residential, and in-home settings.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with teenage boys and young adult men navigating emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, academic and athletic pressure, family conflict, and the transition into adulthood.

My approach to therapy

My approach is steady, structured, and practical. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I help clients build awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop the skills necessary to move forward with greater clarity and direction.

What you can expect from me

Sessions are collaborative but purposeful. The goal is not simply to “talk about feelings,” but to build insight, accountability, and real-world tools that support growth outside of the therapy space.
