Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate here in Texas and US Army Veteran. My clinical work is built around helping clients get unstuck and move forward. My background blends counseling, military, ministry leadership, and years of walking with people through real‐life challenges. I am experienced in working with marriage tension, family conflict, identity questions, stress, trauma, and seasons where life feels heavier than it should.

I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who want straight talk, practical tools, and a therapist who’s fully engaged in the process. I’m trained in CBT, DBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Solution‐Focused Therapy, Trauma‐Focused CBT, and relational/experiential approaches. More importantly than the training, I know how to use these tools in a way that fits real people and real situations.

I show up with energy, honesty, and respect. I’m not passive, and I’m not just a “sit and nod” therapist. I’m here to help you grow, challenge what’s holding you back, and strengthen the relationships that matter most.

My approach to therapy

My approach is straightforward: we work together, we stay focused on solutions, and we build momentum. I’m relational and direct. This means I’ll listen closely, but I’ll also challenge you when it’s needed. I believe people change when they feel supported and pushed in the right ways.

I pull from several modalities, but the heart of my work is helping you understand your patterns, strengthen your relationships, and take practical steps that actually make life better. I look at the whole picture; your thoughts, emotions, habits, relationships, faith, and the stressors you’re carrying. Therapy with me is active, honest, and geared toward real progress.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. We’ll talk about what’s going on, what you’re hoping to change, and what’s been getting in the way. I’ll ask questions to understand your story, your relationships, your strengths, and the pressure points you’re dealing with.

By the end of that first session, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction and a plan for what we’re working toward. You’ll know exactly what therapy with me looks like: engaged, practical, relational, and focused on helping you move forward with confidence.
