I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. As a Christian, African-American male with a uniquely broad and wide-ranging Social Work skill set, I provide consumers with steady, knowledgeable and caring guidance toward achieving mental, emotional, relationship improvement and wellness.

My approach to therapy

My practice aims to provide consumers with the necessary tools that will allow them to regain focus on their overall health and wellness, set achievable goals, and improve relationships. I am certified in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and offer different modalities that are utilized to effectively manage issues surrounding culture, gender, faith, chronic and/or terminal illnesses, and more. I also have experience working with diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds.

I assist individuals, couples and groups navigate their way through the challenges of crisis, anger management, death of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, marriage, romantic relationships, sexual harassment, lack of family support, depression, stress, trauma and other difficulties. Therapy requires commitment to be successful. This collaborative effort will serve as a contributing factor towards rebuilding your inner strength, inner well-being and creating a healthier lifestyle.
