Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Rehabilitation Counselor, I enjoy working alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges. Anxiety, depression, and stress can be difficult, but they do not have to define your life. Reaching out for help takes courage, and by being here you’ve already taken an important first step. My goal is to provide a supportive space where we can work together to help you feel more balanced and move toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

I tailor therapy to each individual because everyone learns differently and has their own unique way of seeing the world. Because of this, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to best support each person’s goals. Some of the modalities I commonly use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mentalization-based approaches.

What you can expect from me

You can expect the first session to be a relaxed conversation where we begin getting to know each other. I’ll ask some questions to understand what brings you to therapy, what challenges you may be facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions and share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where you feel heard and understood as we begin working toward your goals.
