Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults. My clinical background includes psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, psychotherapy, crisis assessment, and treatment planning across outpatient, telehealth, and inpatient behavioral health settings.

I earned my post-master’s education in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner studies from Purdue Global University and bring extensive behavioral health nursing and clinical leadership experience to my practice. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, schizophrenia and other psychiatric concerns.

My approach is collaborative and patient-centered. I believe effective treatment begins with listening and understanding the whole person not simply treating a diagnosis. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, lifestyle interventions, and coordination with other members of your healthcare team.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I take time to understand each client’s symptoms, experiences, goals, and overall well-being rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis. I believe clients should be active participants in their treatment, with open communication and shared decision-making guiding our work together.

I specialize in psychiatric evaluation and medication management for conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, and other mental health concerns. When appropriate, I incorporate supportive therapy, psychoeducation, coping strategies, and lifestyle recommendations alongside medication management.

My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported while we work toward meaningful and sustainable improvements in their mental health.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, my priority is creating a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns. We’ll spend time reviewing your current symptoms, mental health and medical history, medications, lifestyle, and the goals you would like to achieve through treatment.

Together, we’ll develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle recommendations, and additional resources when appropriate. I encourage questions and shared decision-making so that you understand your treatment options and feel comfortable with the plan moving forward.

My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, supported, and with a clear understanding of the next steps in your care.
