Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist and family therapist with over five decades of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. Throughout my career working in both private practice and school systems, I have supported clients of all ages—from young children and teens to adults and retirees—through parenting struggles, relationship tension, family conflict, anxiety, and major life transitions. I view my role not as someone here to evaluate you, but as an experienced guide who helps you make sense of complex dynamics and find manageable, real-world solutions for your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach centers on creating a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly and feel truly heard. I believe that many of our personal struggles are deeply connected to the systems and relationships around us, so we will look at how your environment and interactions shape your experiences. Rather than focusing solely on problems, we will focus heavily on your strengths, working collaboratively to develop actionable strategies that build stronger communication, healthier boundaries, and practical coping tools that fit your unique situation.

What you can expect from me

Taking the step to begin therapy can feel daunting, so our first meeting is designed entirely around your comfort and pacing. There are no test questions or expectations to have everything figured out; we will simply sit down via telehealth, discuss what brought you to therapy, and talk about what you hope to achieve. We will explore your current challenges at a speed that feels natural to you, ensuring you leave our very first session feeling supported, understood, and clear on the practical next steps toward positive change.
