Great to meet you!

I am a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Florida Atlantic University. My professional experience includes outpatient psychiatry, community mental health, hospital care,, substance use recovery, disability services, crisis intervention, and care coordination.

I provide telehealth therapy to adults and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, OCD and intrusive thoughts, ADHD and neurodivergence, serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use, grief, chronic stress, disability-related concerns, and significant life transitions.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, practical, trauma informed, and tailored to each client’s needs and goals. I integrate CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, ERP informed interventions, mindfulness, and solution focused techniques to help clients recognize patterns, strengthen coping skills, manage difficult emotions, and create sustainable change.

My lived experience with cerebral palsy also informs my understanding of disability, access barriers, and the ways social systems can affect mental health. I strive to provide an affirming and respectful environment where clients can speak openly and receive care that reflects their individual experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client. I begin by understanding what brings you to therapy, what you have already tried, and what meaningful progress would look like in your life. Together, we establish clear treatment goals while leaving room to address new concerns as they arise. I aim to create an environment where you can speak openly, examine difficult patterns, and feel respected throughout the process.

I draw from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, ERP informed interventions, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and solution focused techniques. Sessions often combine deeper exploration with practical skills you can apply outside of therapy. My primary areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, OCD and intrusive thoughts,

ADHD and neurodivergence, substance use, serious mental illness, disability-related concerns, chronic stress, and life transitions. I provide trauma informed, culturally responsive, and affirming care that considers your individual identity, experiences, strengths, and needs.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is to create a comfortable, respectful environment where you can speak openly without feeling judged or rushed. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out or be prepared to share your entire life story. We will begin with what feels most important to you and move at a pace that feels manageable.

I will ask about the concerns bringing you to therapy, how they are affecting your daily life, what you have already tried, and what you hope will change. We will also discuss your strengths, support system, treatment preferences, and any important background that may help me understand your experience.

By the end of the session, my goal is for us to have a shared understanding of your primary concerns, identify a few initial priorities, and begin developing a treatment plan that reflects your needs and goals. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions and determine whether my approach feels like a good fit for you.
