I am happy to speak with you regarding my practice philosophy and approach. I don't use a lot of jargon, but instead try to use common sense concepts to validate your experiences and understand your treatment goals. I have always personally felt that therapy is a gift you can give to yourself. I work to understand how you are "built". Change is hard. I help my clients feel "seen" and manage that difficult process.

I consider it a privileged to work with clients on improving their behavioral health, especially getting to know a client and figuring how you are "built" so I can most effectively help you reach your treatment goals.

I see my role as offering support, encouragement, and validation to clients when needed, and thought-provoking alternative perspectives when warranted.

Understanding a client's perspective allows me to best understand problematic thought patterns and habits in order to structure practical treatment that helps you reach your goals. Sessions provide us with the opportunity develop strategies and actions to help you manage your relationships and lives by promoting healthy habits, healthy patterns and promoting self-care.
