Great to meet you!

As an individual, couples, and sexuality therapist, I have worked with clients who experience a range of relational challenges. My PhD in human sexuality education and postgraduate clinical training in Philadelphia has given me a professional skill set to meet the needs of my clients. Because I center my work around emancipatory and liberatory ideologies, my clients find themselves empowered to begin to make difficult choices that are in alignment with their values and relational expectations.

My approach to therapy

As an integrative therapist, I will help you resolve your challenges with trust and unmet intimacy expectations. As a couples and sexuality therapist as well as an addictions specialist (e.g., drugs, sex, gambling, etc) I will support you in unraveling co-dependency, self-esteem, trauma, and other relational fractures. I use a systemic and solution focused perspective to help my clients understand and interpret complex issues that emerge over the lifespan.

What you can expect from me

The first session that we meet is divided into three parts: First, we will discuss family, job, hobbies, and interests; second, we will discuss why you came to therapy as well as any background related to the presenting issues; third, we will discuss goals that you and I will work on when we meet and what you will work on in-between sessions. Throughout our time together, you and I will routinely revisit our goals to make sure that we stay on track.
