Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dr Jami Kulkin. I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 31 years of experience helping individuals and couples heal, grow, and reconnect—with themselves and with others. My approach is warm, intuitive, and tailored to meet you exactly where you are. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and truly supportive of your unique journey.

I hold a Master’s in Psychology and a Doctorate in Naturopathy, and I’m certified in hypnotherapy, meditation, and fitness. My work blends traditional talk therapy with holistic mind-body tools, including mindfulness, somatic work, and guided inner exploration. I also have extensive knowledge of human sexuality—including kink, non-monogamous relationships, and low desire issues—allowing me to work affirmatively with a wide range of clients.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in depression, navigating relationship challenges, or simply ready for deeper self-awareness, I offer a grounded, nonjudgmental space for healing and meaningful change. No two clients are the same, and together we’ll find an approach that feels right for you—whether that means insight work, structured goals, body-based techniques, or gentle exploration.

You don’t have to go through it alone. Therapy can be a powerful step toward feeling more connected, more capable, and more yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is flexible, collaborative, and tailored to you. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions—what works best depends on your personality, goals, and comfort level.

For some clients, we stay in traditional talk therapy, sometimes incorporating books or reflective questions between sessions. For others, we might use behavioral techniques like journaling or goal-setting. I also integrate tools from cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, somatic work, mindfulness, meditation, and hypnotherapy—when there’s interest and it feels like a good fit.

Whether you're looking for insight, structure, healing, or just a space to breathe and process, I meet you where you are and support the path that feels most meaningful for you.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a compassionate, collaborative space where healing doesn’t have to mean reliving all the pain. Together, we focus on understanding what’s at the root of your struggles while building insight, resilience, and tools that support real-life change. My goal is always to help you feel more in control, more connected to yourself, and more equipped to function in ways that feel better and more aligned with who you are. Every session is a step toward greater clarity, relief, and personal growth.
