Great to meet you!

In my over 15 years as a helping professional, I have learned that sometimes therapy is the most difficult first step. It requires accepting all that we are and finding ways to unlock self-empowerment as we work towards our mental health goals. As a Social Worker, I have developed a trauma informed approach to helping my clients. I have worked with foster/adoptive children and families, individuals struggling with depression/anxiety, and helping individuals process grief/life transitions. I have worked with clients from adolescence all the way into adulthood and find joy in helping people discover their greatest potential.

My approach to therapy

It is my goal to provide a safe, non-judgmental, explorative space for my clients to feel empowered in their journey of self-discovery and healing. I believe in meeting people where they are at, working from a strengths-based approach, and developing treatment plans that are collaborative and attainable. Whether you have chronic mental health issues, past traumatic experiences that you are grappling with, or facing major life transitions, I believe that all people have the capacity to change and find coping strategies that enhance their overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our initial session, it is important to convey that I expect you to come as you are with the understanding that the space we share will be judgement free. This is a time we can meet and collaborate on future goals for treatment, what life experiences have lead you to therapy, and for us to build rapport.
