Great to meet you!

I have over 12 years of experience providing therapy to various populations in multiple states. I received my bachelors degree from Iowa State University and my master's from the University of Iowa. I'm passionate about working with adults coping with depression, relationship difficulties, substance use/co-occurring disorders, complicated family dynamics, career or academic challenges, life transitions, and the effects of trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In our work together, I'll incorporate reflection, curiosity, and humor alongside therapeutic modalities such as solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I'll hold a safe, shame-free space for us where we can explore new ways to address unhelpful patterns, move through uncomfortable feelings, and be kinder to yourself. Therapy does not need to be scary nor dull.

What you can expect from our first session

We will complete an intake assessment to identify what challenges you are facing to help us develop an personalized treatment plan together that addresses these challenges.
