Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor who has been practicing in the field since 2008. I received my BA in Psychology and received both a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (2003) and a master’s degree in Political Science (2004). I have years of experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, stress management difficulties, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, anger management issues, grief, women’s issues, and issues with addiction.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic approach in order to meet my clients where they are. In working with clients, I practice a strength-based approach in which helping clients with wellness, self-growth, and exploration is vital and foremost. I strive to help my clients identify problematic thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in order to foster insight to create necessary changes for betterment of their lives.

What you can expect from me

I believe the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is the cornerstone for effective therapy. Safety and trust are the most important aspects of having a meaningful experience and therapeutic relationship. My top priority is to create a safe, warm and welcoming, non-judgmental space to help clients make lasting changes.
