Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jamie Kruse, LCSW. At the heart of my work is creating a safe, steady space where you can lay down what you’ve been carrying and feel truly seen. Many of the people I work with come in holding trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship pain, or the weight of transition. Together, we slow down, breathe, and begin to meet those tender places with compassion and care.

My approach weaves EMDR, transpersonal therapy, mindfulness, parts work, and body-based practices. These are tools to help you gently release old patterns and reconnect with your strength, clarity, and inner wisdom. Transpersonal therapy in particular invites us to honor not only your story and your struggles, but also your deeper sense of meaning, spirit, and the bigger picture of who you are becoming.

I believe healing happens when the mind, body, and spirit are brought into conversation with each other. It’s not about “fixing” you; it’s about creating space for the wholeness that’s already within you to rise to the surface.

If you’re longing for change, if you’re tired of surviving and ready to begin living with more freedom, presence, and peace, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is heart-centered and collaborative. I see therapy as a sacred space where your story, struggles, and strengths are honored. While I draw on EMDR, transpersonal therapy, mindfulness, and body-based practices, my focus is always on connection and presence. Together, we slow down, listen deeply, and create space for your heart’s wisdom to guide healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is to create a space where you feel safe, welcomed, and heard. We’ll spend time getting to know one another — I’ll invite you to share what brings you in, what feels most important right now, and what you hope for in therapy. There’s no pressure to tell your whole story at once; we’ll go at the pace that feels comfortable for you.

I’ll also share a bit about my approach — how I work from a heart-centered, trauma-informed, and transpersonal lens so you have a sense of what our time together might look like. Because connection is key, we’ll focus on building trust and finding a rhythm that feels supportive for you. Together, we’ll begin to explore what goals or intentions feel meaningful, and we’ll talk through any questions you have about the process.

Most of all, I want you to leave that first session with a sense of being met: knowing you don’t have to carry everything alone, and that you now have a safe place to begin your healing journey.
