I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan, specializing in rekindling the connection between the mind and body using somatic (whole body) approaches including Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Breathwork, and Somatic Shadow Work. You will reconnect to yourself, getting out of navigating life only in your head and connecting with your body and heart. Most of us are stuck in fight or flight responses, living in our mind and avoiding the feelings and processes necessary to bring resolution and clarity. I create and hold space for you to do the self-inquiry required to support change and offer techniques for you to sense and regulate your physiology and states of being.

In our sessions, we will get to know one another and what you hope to gain through therapy. I will share an overview of my knowledge and how it can help including that it provides tangible techniques for that you can carry forward for a lifetime.

These somatic techniques help restore the body to a place of safety, expand the capacity to process memory, metabolize unprocessed emotions, complete thwarted stress responses, and restore our relationship to our self and the world around us.
