Great to meet you!

For ten years, I've helped teens and adults move through depression, anxiety, grief, and the adjustments that come with a hard season of life. I'm Jamie McCabe, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I'd love to help you find steadier ground too.

My approach to therapy

I believe it's important for clients to be active participants in their treatment. I incorporate CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused skills into my work with clients. I enjoy helping clients identify their strengths and find their resilience as they face the challenges they're encountering.

What you can expect from me

Our first appointment is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll start by reviewing your rights as a client. Then I'll ask about the issue or issues that bring you to therapy at this time. I may also ask about your past and history, as well as other aspects of your life. These questions help me better understand you and your life. We'll talk about your goals for counseling so that together we can develop a treatment plan to guide your therapeutic journey. I welcome questions or concerns at any time during treatment to make sure you're comfortable and receiving the best care.
