Great to meet you!

Over the past 30 years, I have worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with people as young as 5 to 95+, in a variety of settings. My experience includes, medical and psychiatric hospitals, child welfare and 15+ years of private practice. My private practice focuses on individuals struggling with concerns such as; trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief/loss, relationship issues and parenting problems. Together, we will discuss how to best address your issues using a holistic, trauma informed process.

My approach to therapy

Life is complicated. If you are reading this, You are a Survivor. You may not fully comprehend how or why, but this is where I can help. Together, we can identify your strengths & abilities. Learn how & why our physical bodies react & respond to stress. Gain new insight on how you can impact your reactions & responses to your environment. Feel more grounded & self-assured with mindfulness techniques & coping strategies.

Acknowledging that you may need some assistance is the first step, asking for help is the second. Whatever your struggle, I will listen. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

What you can expect from me

During our first session, You will be assessing me, while I gather information. It is extremely important to ensure that you feel SAFE with your therapist. Your safety with your therapist is the foundation of your treatment success. I encourage you to ask questions & advocate for yourself. After all this is YOUR healing journey!
