Great to meet you!

Hello! 안녕하세요! I’m Jamie Min, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with in-depth training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I bring together clinical expertise and spiritual understanding to create a therapy space that is both evidence-based and deeply compassionate.

I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University and a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Drew Theological Seminary. This unique background allows me to meet you where you are—whether you’re seeking traditional talk therapy, practical skill-building, or a space that honors and integrates your spiritual journey.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I draw from evidence-based therapies such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): to shift unhelpful thought patterns and foster healthier perspectives.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): to strengthen emotional regulation, resilience, and mindfulness.
  • Spiritual Integration (optional): for those who want their faith to be a meaningful part of the healing process.

Whether or not spirituality is central to your journey, my goal is to walk alongside you with respect, understanding, and care. I offer therapy in both English and Korean, and I am committed to creating a safe, culturally sensitive space where you can feel truly seen and supported.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a time for you to slow down, breathe, and share what has been weighing on your heart and mind. I take a holistic approach, which means we’ll look not only at your emotions, but also at the bigger picture of your life, including relationships, stressors, strengths, and hopes. This is a safe and supportive space where your feelings and thoughts are honored without judgment.

We’ll work together to begin clarifying your goals and exploring what healing might look like for you. Whether or not faith is part of your journey, you are welcome here. Everyone deserves a place to be heard and supported. For those who desire it, I offer faith-based counseling that integrates Christian values, prayerful support, and an understanding of God’s presence in the midst of life’s challenges.

This time and space are for you. You won’t be walking alone. I will journey with you, offering guidance, compassion, and tools to help you find peace, strength, and renewed hope.
