Hi, I’m Jamie. I’m a mother and love nature. I graduated with a B.A. in Human Development and Master’s degree in Social Work. I’ve interned at a school district working with students and families providing counseling and play therapy. I also interned with San Diego Regional Center providing counseling and resources for people with developmental disabilities. I currently work at an inpatient psychiatric hospital where I’ve been working for the past 8 years and am also a medical social worker.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic and modifiable. I’m here to listen to what your needs are and to create a plan. I also like to bring interaction and visuals in my sessions. I beleive in forming a healthy life balance and taking small steps towards progress. Treatment is a partnership and if something is not working or lacking, please never hesitate to let me know. I’m here to help you get you better.
