Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 18 years of experience in the mental health field. The majority of my experience has been working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression and trauma. I use a very humanistic and client-centered approach to help clients to feel they can share thoughts and feelings safely and free from judgement. I understand that asking for help and facilitating change in your life takes a lot of courage. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and I am here as a resource to support you through achieving your goals

My approach to therapy

I often use a client-centered approach to build a trusting relationship and safe environment. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you understand internal thoughts and feelings and develop specific tools to reduce symptoms and create positive changes.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my primary goal is to establish a positive relationship, hear your specific concerns and challenges, and help you identify treatment goals. I will ask specific questions, assist you in identifying your strengths, and ask you to share your motivation and goals. Together, we will develop a plan to address your needs.
