Great to meet you!

My name is Jamie and I have a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. I have been in the mental health field for 20 years as a therapist, manager and deputy director of Health and Human Services serving the individuals with severe mental health issues (psychotic, bipolar, anxiety and personality disorders) as well as private practice with individuals who often are experiencing bumps in the road of their life (depression and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, relationship issues). If you are human, you will at some point in your life need or want to seek help. And my experience is that people do get better and accomplish their goals when they are ready to make change. I am here to walk beside you on this journey.

My approach to therapy

I expect client lead sessions with a focus on their experiences, the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and actions and how depression and/or anxiety play a role.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel heard, be provided with education/skills and feedback, and at times be encouraged to complete “homework” practicing skills discussed or work on changing one thing they have identified as a need to achieve their goals.
