Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with children, adults, and couples. I specialize in supporting clients who have experienced trauma, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, and I also help couples navigate how trauma impacts their relationship. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and strive to provide care that is culturally responsive and accessible. At the heart of my work is a belief in the power of connection, respect, and honesty as the foundation for healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in creating a safe, calm, and supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and relational therapies. I view healing as something that happens through relationships—both the relationship you have with yourself and the one we build together in therapy. I tailor my approach to your unique needs, helping you process difficult experiences while also strengthening your capacity for connection, resilience, and emotional regulation.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to get to know you and begin building a sense of trust and safety. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any questions or concerns you may have about the process. There is no pressure to share everything right away—I move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You can expect a collaborative and compassionate conversation where we begin to identify what support might look like and how we can work together to help you feel more grounded, understood, and supported.
