Great to meet you!

I specialize in OCD, anxiety, panic, and trauma — and specifically in the kind of OCD that feels shameful or secretive. Whether it's intrusive thoughts you've never said out loud, rituals that are eating hours of your day, or a persistent sense that something terrible is about to happen, I've worked with clients carrying all of it. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and I practice exclusively via telehealth, so we can meet from wherever you are in the state. I accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna.

My approach to therapy

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is the foundation for OCD work; it's the most rigorously researched treatment available and it actually produces lasting change rather than just managing symptoms. ERP isn't about forcing yourself into scary situations; it's about systematically learning that you can tolerate uncertainty, and that the rituals aren't keeping you safe the way your brain insists they are. Weave in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients reconnect with their values and build a life that isn't organized around avoidance. Traditional talk therapy often reinforces OCD cycles unintentionally — a structured, evidence-based approach matters here, and I tailor it carefully to each person's specific fears, life circumstances, and goals.

What you can expect from me

We use the first session to really understand what's going on — not just the symptoms, but how OCD or anxiety is actually showing up in your daily life, what you've already tried, and what you want your life to look like on the other side of treatment. There's no pressure to share anything you're not ready for. You will leave the first session with a clearer picture of what the work will look like, what ERP involves, and whether this feels like the right fit. Expect honesty, structure, and a therapist who takes your situation seriously — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
