She earned her graduate degree from Northwestern University, where she further developed her clinical foundation and commitment to evidence based care.

My approach to therapy

Jamie Taylor takes a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy, grounded in evidence-based practices and a strong therapeutic relationship. She believes that meaningful progress begins with creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and able to be open and honest about their experiences without fear of judgment.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity to begin understanding your unique experiences, concerns, and goals in a supportive and structured environment. Jamie Lynn Taylor will guide you through a comprehensive assessment to gather important information about your current symptoms, mental health history, medical background, and day-to-day functioning.

The conversation is collaborative and paced with your comfort in mind. You’ll be invited to share what has brought you to therapy, including challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, or life transitions, as well as any strengths and coping strategies you already use.
