Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are and without feeling like you have to have everything figured out first. I know reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, so I work to create an environment that feels warm, genuine, and free of judgment.

My goal is to help you better understand yourself, recognize the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build the tools and confidence to create meaningful change in your life. I value honesty, compassion, and collaboration, and I believe you are the expert on your own experiences. My role is to walk alongside you, offer a different perspective when it’s helpful, and support you in moving toward the life and relationships you want.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to the person sitting in front of me. I don’t believe therapy should feel like a one-size-fits-all process. We’ll work together to understand what you’re experiencing, where certain patterns may be coming from, and what needs to change for you to feel more grounded, confident, and fulfilled.

I want therapy to be a place where you feel heard and understood, but I also believe in helping you move forward. That may mean exploring difficult experiences, identifying patterns, learning new ways of coping or communicating, challenging thoughts that are no longer serving you, and practicing different ways of responding to the situations you’re facing.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really about getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what has been going on, what you would like to be different, and what you hope to get from our work together.

You don’t need to come prepared with the perfect explanation or know exactly where to begin. I’ll ask questions to help guide the conversation, and we’ll start identifying the areas you’d like to focus on. It’s also an opportunity for you to get a feel for me and my approach, ask questions, and decide whether we feel like a good fit.

Most importantly, I want you to leave that first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of where we can begin.
